About Claremont
Claremont is located about 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Once the locus of a thriving citrus industry, it is now known for its outstanding colleges and its beautiful, historic downtown, Claremont Village. The Village is just a five minute walk from the workshop site and features interesting shops and a wide variety of restaurants. When the jacaranda trees come into bloom each June, the major streets are bordered with purple.
